Job Summary:
The Upper-Level Maintenance Technician will provide maintenance, electric, and pneumatic repairs on equipment in a safe and timely manner. Welding, HVAC, and preventative maintenance will also be performed.
Job Type: Full-time; Night Shift
Pay: Starting pay is $26.00 an hour
Paid: Weekly
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical related to cranes, cast line, control cabinets, crusher,
baghouse, furnaces, etc. - Replace mechanical items such as motors, gearbox, bearings, electrical outlets, and
lighting, etc. - Repair of forklifts, air compressors, skid steer, etc.
- Designs and completes fabrication projects
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Furnace troubleshooting and repair including TCs, ignitors, four-way valves, cylinders,
blowers, etc. - HVAC and plumbing repairs as needed.
- Efficient in upkeep and communication of supply item needs.
- Completion of work orders through upkeep.
- All entry level tasks.
- Coordinate work performed by outside contractors once on-site.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and upkeep maintenance software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Five years of experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
- Three years of experience in maintenance technician role preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into confined spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Output Production Incentive
– Begins after 90-days of continuous employment
– Earned based on perfect attendance and production output of over 25 ton to 28 ton
– Paid monthly
– Pays an additional $1.00 to $2.00 an hour for regular hours worked
– Pays an additional $1.50 to $3.00 an hour for overtime hours
Royalty Incentive
5 years of continuous employment: One time bonus of $3,000
10 years of continuous employment: One time bonus of $8,000
15 years of continuous employment: One time bonus of $15,000
